I persevered and finally solved the jig saw puzzle of pieces. The base is now assembled and just waiting for the saw body to be remounted. Thanks everyone for looking at this post.

the above site claims to have the manual for free. if you google the 113.29450 manual, there are several sites that sell it and maybe some more that have it for free.

did you recently rewire this motor? If so recheck the wiring. If not sounds like you have a problem with the starter windings or switch in the motor itself.
