Timex ironman triathlon

Yes,I changed the battery in my watch after 5 years of great use,no problems.The indiglo light would not work.After installing new battery and pushing the reset prong,and setting watch,and checking light, everything working great, I reintalled watch into case,buttoned it back up, and checked everything again, and no indiglo and no set button operation.Then I take the watch out of the case, and it works great again.Please help, I would like my watch to work again, its been a great asset to me over the years.,Thanks
