Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
Enter the 4 digit code from the code tables. Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes.
With your device on, press CHANNEL UP. If the device responds, no further programming is required. Note: If some buttons do not operate your device, try one of the other codes for your brand. No,there no reset codes for personal secret codes, even the technician wouldn't able to fix this problems, might fix this problems by replacing Tuner board, but than it not worth the price of the tv,if u do that.Sorry u have to take the problems u have it with this tv.
had this problem myself and I assure you that a) Comcast is populated by idiots without training, and b) that Quasar hasn't 'deliberately designed' their tvs to not work with Comcast remotes, which is what Comcast will tell you.
Solution: Add a 1 to the code, ie 10250, 10051 etc. Quasar is a 5 digit code, not 4 as Comcast believes.
