Frigidaire 2006 model FDB2415LFB0 door rather suddenly began squeaking very loudly. I've soaked everything in sight that moves with oil, sprayed WD-40, etc. and the noise is unaffected. The cords, pulleys, hinges all oiled yet it keeps screaming. I'm about to just shoot it!

Sorry I was wrong. So it is up to you to find out exactly where it squeaks and maybe do a small adjustment on the door hinge screws or a little hammer work on the binding metal parts.

There are many Kenmore Elite models with numerical identifiers. You may be able to replace the rinse aid door, or you may have to replace the whole door, if parts are available.
The door spring tension might be causing the door latch to become disengaged. Check the level of the dishwasher and also adjust door spring tension. Will need model number to provide more details.
Push the little lever sticking out of the dispenser.
Maybe you have some calcium or hardened soap that is holding the lid closed. some Lemi-Shine powder dissolved in hot water and use an old toothbrush to clean off the soap/hard-water deposits.
I'm not sure if all of your lights are staying on, but if it is several at least and your cycle is done....just push your door closed again and the lights should go out. I find that after my cycle finishes, if I don't completely close the door, most of the lights stay lit. I have to be sure the door snaps in all the way when I close it or the lights stay on.
It seems most likely door latch stock and you going to need buy new door latch as for stock one most likely you hsve to forceit to open and replace it with new one
Open the door and remove the top screws connected to the console. Close
the door (not locked) and flip the console down toward you. Remove the control cover
to gain access to the control board and the thermal fuse.
I just read this for the same problem: push sanitize, then heat and dry, sanitize, heat and dry, sanitize, heat and dry, cancel, then open and close the door. It worked. The dishwasher is running correctly even as I type this.
