Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
I have a new old printer. Hooking it up via USB to traditional conversion cable (pegs??)(printer does not have USB port. I downloaded the driver. It is an HP 612C. OPen word document, send to print and the machine engages, the cartridge mechanism moves and the paper begins feeding - then, stops, and the light that has a picture of a piece of paper with an arrow begins bllinking and no printing takes place.
Sounds to me the printer is trying to tell you that there is a paper problem.
Please check ther entire paper path for any scraps of paper.
Also, make sure that the feed rollers are clean and soft.
