Delete contacts on blackberry bold 9700

As long as you haven't done anything on the phone yet, you can do a factory reset. To do so, you go into the settings > security > security wipe, and check any boxes. Type blackberry and hit Wipe Data.

Various tips

tp.gifSOLUTION: Hold On/Off switch until it resets
tp.gifSOLUTION: Turn Off iPhone; Power it back up
tp.gifSOLUTION: : Reset TomTom One at least once, Sometimes several times to power up

SOLUTION
  • Ok... there is a trick to this. I set it up EXACTLY the same way with the AT&T option and the Cingular option. The only way it works is with the CINGULAR option.

tp.gif1.replace the APN isp.cingular with
tp.gif wap.cingular
tp.gif2.delete default username, type tp.gif WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM
tp.gif3.delete default password, type
tp.gif CINGULAR1
tp.gif4.when the login script comes up it should look
tp.gif ike this (because you've already changed the APN)
tp.gif at+cgdcont=1,"IP","wap.cingular"
tp.gif5.Accept the automatic configuration for the IP & DNS

Garmin 2460 - when I upgrade the maps, I lose all stored favorites (except Home) and it's a pain to re-enter. Any way to avoid this?

Yes, back up your favorites. First, your GPS really should not be losing your favorites during an update (some firmware upgrades can cause this). We have written a procedure to back up your favorites should you lose them. The procedure can be found here:

I got a error 523 on my blackberry bold 9700

error 523 reset means a "System process died" You'll need I would reload the entire handheld OS again.

1. Install the software from the CD (that you received with the device), or download it from the service provider (AT&T).

2. Delete or rename the vendor.xml file, here: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader (you're windows file options needs to be set to 'show system files', to see said file...

3. Open Desktop Manager (DM)...

4. Connect the Red Pearl (since am sure that's what you have!)...

5. Doing this will force the pc to see the BlackBerry as new hardware, and thus force it to reload the Operating System (OS)...

6. During the process, select YES to do a backup...

7. The whole process should take about 30-45 minutes...

But, since this has happened so many times, I have to ask myself, is it something you're doing that it causing this? I know the Red Pearls from AT&T have had issues from DAY ONE!

I have sony ericson xperia x10 but when i tried to transfer files using bluetooth to my friend's black berry 9700 word appear "paired but not connected" may i know what will i do to fixed it....

Have you & him trusted both the devices first?
Sometimes this has to be done for the good smartphones that have secure wi-fi settings defaulty installed on the systems from manufacturers.

Go to your Connections settings.
Select: "Trusted Devices" if you have that one or similar wording.
Make sure your friends 9700 is selected as a Trusted Device so that you'd be able to pair information across.
