My vinotemp vt60 starts cooling then stops

I sounds to me like the compressor is overheating. There is an overload on the compressor itself. Follow the wires where they go into the compressor. There will be a black wire going from the power cord to the overload. These can be purchased at appliance parts stores. Make sure there is no dirt build up on condenser coils or a kink in the tubing.

Need front grill at the base of the unit (broke). Where can i buy??

Vinotemp sells replacement parts to customers directly from their factory. My first suggestion would be to check with them if this is a part you can purchase a replacement for. 1-800-777-8466 or go to and submit a Service Request form for help.

My vinotemp will not stop when it gets to 55 degrees - it keeps running and starts beeping when it gets into the 40's - it is a 2 door 500 bottle model

Check the coils to ensure they are free of dust(can be vacuumed) and the doors on the unit are sealed properly. Sounds like there is a thermostat problem. You can get these parts from Vinotemp @ 800-777-8466

It stop working and there is a clicking noise in the back area.

first unplug unit for a few hours . remove back . under there there is a compressor and a fan plug in did the fan motor start itself ? if not touch blade a little , did it start now ? if so you have a bad fan motor ( real common with this cooler ) if the fan allways ran no problem you have a bad start relay on the compressor ( this is another real common problem ) you need to order a fan motor and or a start relay from vinotemp . on an order i made a week ago they had the motor but not the relay (relay kit ) it was on backorder , you may get lucky i just looked i do not have the phone #with me but you can fiind it on there website (thats where i found it ) good luck ps :on second thought dont play around , order the fan motor and the relay together no mater if the fan is working or not , even if it is it will not be for long Please if this answer helped , please rate this 3 or 4 stars . and keep me in the paid answer department . A 1 or 2 may knock me down into the unpaid ranks. Thanks Cactus Bob .

Vinotemp VT-16TEDS has light on but doesn't cool

First check the grating over the fan in the back. If it is covered with dust, there won't be enough air flow and the unit won't cool. Clean the dust off and see if it cools back down. It may take a long time to cool down if it is full of wine, so I recommend taking the wine out to test if it works.

It sounds like you're having a control board PCB issue. You can often get replacement parts directly from Vinotemp. Of course, I'm sure the issue will be easier to resolve if your unit is still under warranty. If not, they should still be able to sell you the parts you need and then you or a qualified repair person can replace whatevers needed. Instructions for some service issues can be found on the Vinotemp website in the Customer Service section. You can also request service for your unit there. Hope you get it fixed!
