KitchenAId refrigerator is making a knocking sound.

When there is a noise it is important to know the source of the noise. In the case of a fridge the fault is usually a poor compressor motor assmebly mounting. Over a time the bushes and the mountings can wear out and result in noise when the compressor vibrates. Also when the motor runs , in many cases it can produce a sympathetic vibration as the grills, the rear fitting or plastic can make noise. finally a fault within the compressor can be related to this specially if you can place a hearing probe to know the emission of noise.

The compressor is making noises and it raises up slow. After it has raised compressor shuts off until the car is unlevel again. What can i do to stop the noise?

It sounds like the compressor is getting to the point of being worn out. that is why it is making noise and raising slowly.

I have a ge profile side-by-side model tfhw22r refrig/freezer that has started to make a rattling noise (possible from the rear of the freezer side) that may more accurately be described as the sound...

Sounds like the compressor has a broken spring inside. The only fix is to replace the compressor. But before calling a service man, disconnect the power from the unit and remove the cover on the back covering the compressor. Look for any loose parts at the compressor. Make sure nothing is touching the compressor causing the noise. Make sure the pan that holds water during the defrost cycle is not loose and rattling. If you feel safe doing so, plug it in and see exactly where the noise if coming from. If it has never been cleaned then clean all the coils and all around the compressor with a vacuum cleaner but make sure it is not plugged in when doing this and use care not to damage any parts. They make a special tool that goes on your vacuum wand to reach inside the coils to remove accumulated dust. If you find no loose parts and determine that the noise is coming from the compressor all is not lost. The compressor can be replaced if the unit is otherwise in good condition. If it is over 15 years old, I would consider purchasing a new unit and not repairing this one. I hope I have been helpful.

How eliminate the compressor to put new belt because have a bad noise

you can't as you have a serpentine belt; find the noise and, get it fixed.
It's usually the AC compressor clutch bearing.

I have a 1997 cadillac deville and the a/c is not working and makes a terriable banging noise. Can I just remove the belt and disconnect the wires.

If the noise is comming from the compressor then u need to replace it. as far as I know the belt on the compressor also operates other items as well so removing the belt will only create more problems. U can shop around and usually find conpressors fairly cheap from salvage yards. U just need to find someone to replace it if u are unable to do so. additionally sometimes the clutch in the compressors go out but don't waste money on buying just a clutch cuz they are only a couple dollars cheaper than a compressor.

I have a loud whining noise coming from my ac compressor. i have a 98 cadillac deville and it makes the whining noise even if the ac is off. it makes that noise the whole time the car is running

The A/C compressor constantly turns because the pulley is connected into the serpentine system. The whining noise is pretty indicative of a low charge in the A/C system. I would start by having your A/C pressure checked and charged if needed.

When i start up my 98 cadillac deville there is a loud whining noise from the ac compressor. Will my car run without the ac compressor or will i need to spend the money to replace it?

The car should run okay without the compressor, you just won't have A/C. The cooling fans should still operate with the Engine Coolant Temperature sensor. It is also possible that you just need to charge the A/C system. A loud whining noise is indicative of low charge to the compressor.

Ac compressor pulley bearings bad, and pulley makes noise.

buy yourself a remanufactured A/C compressor, as you need specialized tools to rebuild and old compressor as well as the seals.
