Low suction

We have one of these a few years old without the ball, pull out and see what suction is like with just the hose and the attachment for it, am I wrong and it (yours ) does not have the pull up and out hose? low suction is almost always a blockage in the air path between motor and cannister.

No suction

Your filters are clogged. Dysons have two filters. One is the washable one located directly beneathe the cannister. The other is a post filter located inside of the vacuum housing. This filter should be replaced by a Dyson technician. The Dyson company recommends you replace your filters every 6 months to a year, depending on how often you vacuum.
