Ice through trap door

To prevent this problem of ice formation, you need to maintain a fix time interval of switching on and off your refrigerator unit. It will help in maintaining cooling as well as ice level.

You have a problem wit the air temperature control blend or the blend door actuator motor, most times both are defective. The parts are located deep in the dash and as such the dash assembly must be removed to service the parts.

04 safari trying to find the door that turns to switch cool to hot its stuck very little heat comes out

The trap is under the dash in the lower right hand corner of the dsh. It may not be the trap, it may be the switch, a brolen cable or a vacuum leak.

When puting heater on cool browing hot air

There is a door attached to the cable behind the levers on the heater controls. The cable goes to the heating unit under the dash to a trap door that is supposed to move. You will want to look to see that the cable is attached and moving the lever on the side of the blower box under the dash. If its not moving, move it manually and see if you get temperature change to cool. Probably, your heater is stuck on and hot air is being carried over the heater core and into the vehicle. You need to close off the door that allows the heat into the vehicle and then trace the cable back to the lever to find out where the problem is. Maybe a broken or disconnected cable or improper closing heater box door.

Heating problems

This problem is caused by a defective blend door (stuck) or blend door actuator motor. The blend door is what moves in the air stream to supply heat or cool, or a blend of the two, it is in the dash and the dash must be removed to access it for repair.
