Usage cpu 100%

The high CPU useage could also be the virus scanning program running and if your hard disk has a lot of files, data etc. it would take a lone time to complete.
Removing unwanted files and programs will make the virus scanning complete its task quicker.

You should also carry out hard disk maintenance at least onec a month Ie Disk Cleanup and Defrag to remove temporary unwanted files and Defrag will make your files contiguous so the hard disk does not need to work as hard and efficient.

I bought my new Sony Vaio VPCEH last 2 weeks ago,. dual core, 2.3ghz, 4gb ram.. what i wondered is why my cpu almost overload all the time even i just use firefox, or explorer (opening folders ) or so

The CPU is runnimg with a useage of 45-60% as soon as the laptop has booted up because Kapersky is upgrading the virus definition file and is running a virus check on the files stored on the hard disk. When Kapersky has finished these tasks then you will see a drop in CPU useage.
NOTE as you install more programs and as your data files increase so will it take longer for Kapersky to carry out the virus scan.

The computer keep shutting down.... i had taken down and he feel the mother board or something had been shorten circut.. i had it for 3 years... other than that seem that everything is fine but shut down...

If there was a short circuit it wouldn't power on period. If it shuts down completely and not rebooting your most likely teleconferencing one of the following
  • Power supply is crapping out (less likely)
  • Your computer is overheating (Most likely)
If it is rebooting then your most likely experiencing a software crash perhaps due to a failing hardrive or just general operating system corruption.
If your computer stays up for more than a few minutes try downloading speedfan (click the words "Speedfan 4.4" not the giant button (thats an ad) http://www.almico.com/sfdownload.php Run it and it will display your core and CPU temps anything over 60-65 is pretty **** high, shutdowns will usually occur higher than 75 C though. If you know how to enter BIOS (usually F10) while the system is first booting up, some BIOS will allow you to set a shutoff threshold.
After thought... failing CPU fans can also cause a computer to shutdown.
Comment back with your finding or if you need further help.

Cpu 100% and usb and soundcard not working?

Please do the three finger wave (Ctrl/Alt/Del) to see what is running. Check the CPU useage. Begin stopping 'processes' until you find the one that makes your computer run at 100%. You may have to reboot several times to find the answer to your question ...

Let me know what you find out ... perhaps I can be of further assistance at that time

try to reset your overclocking settings in bios. most of the time the best thing is to over write your os completly with lynx. lynhx will bring your hard drive to complete 0's then reinstall windows this should fix it. keep in mind you will loose everything including drivers so rip the drivers to a disk and then do this

I have dell Optiplex GX260 with pentiumR 4 CPU 2ghz an 2g RAM. I have a separate seagate 200 g harddrive coupled to it. I tend to leave a lot of programmes open at one time mainly inetrnet stuff and just...

I would suggest rebooting more often as the OS has memory leaches that slow the computer down over time. Rebooting clears this up. Its a pain but works. Also remove programs using the program removal in the control panels as it will clear unneeded software that may be running on your computer. Backing up important files and doing a clean install is the best way to get rid of nasty malware that finds its way from the internet to your computer.

A new system of course would be way faster but money is money, what is your time worth to put into this computer? is it worth wasting or get a new computer?

Laptop computer lagging horribly

You have something running in the background that is eating up the CPU useage. You need to identify which process is doing this.

Use the built in task manager, using ctrl-alt-delete to bring it up, and see which process is at above 90% cpu usage. Then post back here what you find.
