If the sockets are hot (electrically, plug in something to confirm that sockets operation) and you are pushing the right button on the heater, then the unit is defective. There is no type of resettable sensor to my knowledge (not consumer accessible).

Reset a Honeywell HZ-709 portable electric oil room heater?

I'm going to ask the first "obvious" question: are you sure the socket you're plugging into is delivering power? (Sorry to ask but it's an Occam's Razor kind of situation) Have you tried a different socket in the same room? Next, does the main power switch for the heater have different settings i.e. high, medium, low, high-high, high-low, low-low and have you tried those combinations? Next, pick up the heater (if it won't hurt your back) and give it a robust shake. Try the power again. Any luck? Keep us posted.

My Honeywell HZ-717 won't turn on. Suggestions?

  1. If the Socket where the heater has been plugged in is receiving power, the Fuse in the Plug may have blown. Check that.
  2. Check for loose cabling contact.
  3. Since it is new, it must be under warranty, call the Service people from Honeywell first.

Could have something in the blades that atomatically shut it down. Check for a reset button. Plug unit into different wall socket. Ensure power cable is attached securely to unit. Best I can offer w/o seeing it. GT

I had the unit set to a second zone that ran into a splitter for four different areas of my house. The second zone is not working, how do I test to see if it is the denon unit or the splitter ?

Plug something other than Zone 2 into the splitter, say, any tape out on the Denon. Keep it simple. Play FM.

When and if THAT works go back to the manual and analyze why Zone 2 isn't working. Observe the Zone 2 Output indicator. (Page 5)

You must have a TV or other speaker-capable device that you can run Zone 2 OUT to. Try that to prove your setup works.

Register and download the manual for free at retrevo.com

Have lost power, I purchased a new power supply and cord but still get nothing at the power button. help

You can try a different power socket make sure though it's plugged directly into a power socket without any adapters also check the front button panel to make sure it's firmly connected else your power unit must be blown if you smell a electrical burn from the printer then it proberly is damaged if you are still ubder warrenty I suggest contacting HP or your place of purchase

Uae customer

even if there is power difference, all you have to do is buy a transformer that would convert 110 volts to 220 volts or vice versa. another issue that to be consider is frequency.

if the unit is designed to run at 60 Hz, then it would be slower when plugged to a 50 Hz supply. and the reverse, it would be faster if it is designed to 50 Hz and plugged to a 60 Hz supply.
