Bosch vaskemaskin med feilkode f04 - Washing Machines

The only F04 error on a Bosch oven is with the Bosch 5000 Series wall oven. On this model, the problem is with the door latch. Unplug (or turn off at the circuit breaker) the oven. Turn it back on after a few seconds. When the power comes on, the oven should do a self-test of the lock mechanism. If the error persists, you'll need to do some diagnostics to determine if the lock is faulty. The problem could also be with the wiring or the control board didn't register the correct signal from the lock sensor.

Please add a comment with the model number of the wall oven for more assistance and any possible parts lists. You may want to call for service if you aren't comfortable doing this work. You probably need to get the oven out of the wall cavity for some of the diagnostics.

If the error code is a F04, then it means that you have a motor fault.

Bosch Excel? F04 means the pump hasn't been able to pump out (or at least that it thinks it hasn't been able to pump out). There are multiple possibilities from a clogged hose, to a burnt out motor, to a bad relay or just a bad connection. None the less, I found a blog post that details how to deal with it if you're handy...

i had this problem,no drain or spin,opened the flap at bottom right hand corner and pulled out small hose to drain machine opened circular filter cover (some water may come out) and found a 5p and 1p blocking filter after removing ,machine worked fine.

washing machin pipes were frozen in garage, defrosted now. done one wash half way through, error f04 came up. water still in machine and it makes a noise when trying to spin. The fillter knob has broken and i can't undo it to clean it out.

1. Loose debris blockin pump - Clean drain pump on the bottom of the machine,
2. Drainage pipe and or drainage hose blocked - I would like help on this as well.

need more info what point in the wash does it start to display the code

find the punch hole on plate use pointed object stick in hole and turn

try removing power from unit and re-applying about 15 minutes later
