Question about HP Officejet 5610 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I want to scan 5 x 7 photos and use the ADF. it works fine but the photos come out small. is it possible to change a setting and have them come out larger as if they were scanned on the document table using the multi scan option?
I just scan to the computer. Then in microsoft publisher i resize the picture the size i want by moving my mouse... i put it on the sheet exactly where i want it and print. I don't even have to save the publisher to do it. You can also resize fast in photoshop or any other photo program like Picasa (free online)

If you get the error while trying to scan with your HP 5610v All-In-One, the easy way to scan from your printer is to click on start, go to Paint and then File, the option "From Scanner or Camera" will come up.. click there and poof - you can scan anything you want and save it where you want... Problem solved!! good luck!!!

Support overview for the HP Officejet 6500:
See the user guide from page 48 (=44) for how to scan:
To use the scan features, your device and computer must be connected and turned on.
The printer software must also be installed and running on your computer prior to
scanning. To verify that the printer software is running on a computer running Windows,
look for the device icon in the system tray at the lower-right side of the screen, near the
clock. To verify this on a computer using Mac OS X, open the HP Device Manager, and
click Scan Picture. If a scanner is available, it will launch the HP ScanPro application. If
it is not available, a message appears to let you know that a scanner was not found.
Select Software & Driver Downloads in the support overview and next enter your operating system to get to the required software.
