If i remember correctly there should be a single nut holding that tire on,use a rubber hammer and hit drive shaft and pull on tire at same time with other hand,it should move out far enough to get a large wrench behind the tire and push toward chair untill tire comes off

Raise the back of the bike high enough that you can drop the wheel out the bottom other wise you may have to take off a saddlebag , loosen the rear axle nut, take out the bolt, knock out the spacer , lift the caliper assembly out of the way and hang it by a wire, grab the wheel, and slide it sideways away from the final drive. The wheel should slide right off the spline of the final drive and roll out the back under the fender. If the wheel wont slide past the final drive let the air out of the tire. Be sure to coat the spline of the final drive with moly60 paste from your local Honda dealer when reassembling.

How to remove the rear tire with shaft drive


Pull the rear axle, and spacer on the brake side of wheel. Un hook brake rod and brake strut. Position yourself on the brake side of the bike and pull the rear wheel straight out of the final drive housing. Put a little grease on thhe final drive splines upon reinstalling the wheel to aid removal next time.

Removing front wheel (flat tire)


The lug nuts are the only thing holding the wheel on, aside from a little rust in some cases. Stand in front of the tire facing away from it, try giving it a swift kick on the edge. Of course, you must exercise caution when doing this. Be sure the vehicle is properly supported and won't fall the jack stand.

How do you remove front wheel bearing


is this front wheel? rear wheel? or 4 wheel drive? if you have front wheel drive or 4 wheel drive you will need to take the tire off and get the center cap off with cotter pin on most vehicles. then put the tire back on without its center cap. then put the vehicle back on the ground. then use required socket with an extention and breaker bar to put through the rim to loosen center hub bolt about a quarter turn. just enough to break it loose. then take the tire back off to finish the job. remove the brake caliper and rotor then center nut on hub bearing. there should be 3 bolts from the inside holding hub bearing on. on rear wheel only you won't need to take the tire off and on.

Down and dirty way - take it to the dealer and have them install a new tire....

The hard way: place bike on bike jack and remove rear wheel by removing the axle nut and drifting the axle out of the wheel. Derail the belt/chain and drop the wheel out of the brake caliper. Remove valve stem to deflate the tire. Get a set of tire spoons and a 12 pack of COLD brew cause working with tire spoons is no FUN! Pry the bead loose with one spoon and the work your way around the wheel prying the tire beed to the outside of the wheel. Repeat this process for the back side of the tire (in the same direction as the first side so the tire will come off the wheel. Reverse and repeat to install new tire.

By now you will be loading your wheel into the truck and heading to the HD shop. It just really isn't worth the hastle to save the $25 or so to have this job done.

Align wheel with new tire on it with the brake caliper so that you have one shoe on each side of the rotor (you may have to actually remove the caliper if your pads are thick. Install your belt drive/chain drive and then lift the wheel to insert the axle through the swing arm, the chain tensioner and wheel. Reverse
on the other side. Place axle nut on axle and torque to about 80lbs.

Good to go.

Removal of motorcycle rear tire/shaft driven


The final drive assembly has to be unbolted from the swingarm and it is removed with the rear wheel. Once the assembly is off the bike, the axle can be removed and the final drive separated from the wheel.

Wheel broke of my Power Chair


I assume you are referring to the caster tire, not the drive tire. You will need to check to see if the rim is a split-rim or a solid rim. A split-rim will have 4 or more bolts holding the two halves of the rim together. If you have flat-free tires i.e., foam-filled solid tires, evidenced by the lack of a valve stem which is used to inflate non-flat-free tires (pneumatic), you would remove the wheel from the caster by rermoving the center bolt acting as the axle. Then remove the bolts holding the rims together. Reposition tire on top of one of the rim halves, then place the other rim half on top so that the bolt holes in the top one line up with the holes in the bottom one. You need to buy a couple of bolts that are about 3/4 in or more longer than the bolts that you removed, as you now must press the two halves back together and the stock bolts probably won't reach through. Put the two longer bolts in opposite of each other in two holes and tighten down. When the rims are pressed together, then put the stock bolts in, remove the two longer ones and replace with stock bolts. Place wheel back on the caster. If you have pneumatic tires (requiring air), make sure to always deflate the tire completely before attempting to loosen the bolts holding the rim-halves together. The same process is used for drive tire replacement. If the rims are not split rims, then it is easiest to buy an entire new wheel and tire as getting it back on is quite a chore requiring a press and lots of tequila! It's easy to break the rims. Removing Yamaha rear tire (1100 Classic)


do you mean remove the wheel? tires are best left to a shop to do as they have the machine. drive shaft yes? undo all bolts thru frame to final drive casing. slacken wheel nut but do not remove spindle, pull wheel back and out of the frame the drive shaft comes with it, tace out spindle and now lift final drive from wheel, there may be a spacer which might fall out. done deal..

  1. Remove the tire and wheel center cap.
  2. Remove the drive axle nut.
  3. Raise and support the vehicle. Remove the tire and wheel. .
  4. Remove the brake rotor.
  5. Disengage the wheel drive shaft from the wheel hub and bearing. Place a brass drift against the outer end of the wheel drive shaft in order to protect the wheel drive shaft threads. Sharply strike the brass drift with the hammer. Do not attempt to remove the wheel drive shaft from the wheel hub and bearing at this time.
  6. Remove the wheel hub and bearing from the steering knuckle by removing the three bolts coming in from the back side of the knuckle.
Of course you may have to use a hammer to loosen the bearing from the knuckle.
