Question about Maytag Neptune MAH9700 Front Load Washer
I started to do a load of laundry, but ran into a problem. As the load was beginning to finish with about ten minutes left an error code was flashing OE. I do not know what that means and cannot seem to get my laundry done.
Just resolved same problem...it is the pressure switch aka water level sensor. OE is overflow error. Pressure switch is located under top cover on front right hand side. It is round and has a rubber tube leading down to the drum and a electrical connection to the board. Paid maytag man to diagnose/install cost me about $150

There is a recall on the circuit board for certain Maytag Neptune washers. See the link below:

I had to unplug my washer. Shut the water inlet, and then turn it back on and it worked fine. However the problem keeps repeating. At least you can finish the load.

Our Maytag Neptune Front load washer keeps displaying code 3E (NOT code E3). It will do so repeatedly until I give up for a day or so until forced to wash again at which time it work fine for 5 or 6 loads or go straight to 3E depending on which way the wind is blowing. Although my web research has found that this is a very common problem Maytag has been no help at all. The recall does not apply to this problem. I have called 3 different repair services reapeatedly and not a single one will call back. After 45 minutes of complaining to Maytag they said they would give me 20% off of a new model washer in their fine family of washers or 25% off of any parts. So far I've found others on web that had same problem & it was a circuit board that cost approx. $260.00 to repair. I'm at a loss as to whether to have machine repaired, have hubby look at it or beat it with a sledgehammer. Anyone have any luck with same problem?

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
Here's a link to this great service

The LG error code OE simply means "the pump is blocked". Presumably the water isn't being emptied properly. As with all error codes it is possible that there is a cause other than the exact description in the error code explanation but basically this error means as far as the washing machine is concerned it thinks the water isn't pumping out. A pump, or filter blockage is the most common cause but it could be caused by other faults such as a faulty pump, or even a blockage in the drain hose or somewhere else in the system etc
