Error code OE does not finish whole cycle

I started to do a load of laundry, but ran into a problem.  As the load was beginning to finish with about ten minutes left an error code was flashing OE.  I do not know what that means and cannot seem to get my laundry done.

OE Error Code: Faulty Water Sensor? Unplugged, turned off water/turned on water, still OE. Door won't open.  What a lemon!

UM dont bother calling Maytag... They dont know what OE means and will just tell you to call a repair man... We have the same problem and we just turn off the washer and then turn it back on to Spin only then it drains and spins and is done... gets it done but its a pain. when we have money for repairs I guess we will call a repair man. The recall is for the electric board they say that the machine can leak onto the electric board and cause it to shock and then possibly cause a fire in your house. they said that they are going to send us a kit to make the outlet a GFCI outlet (OOOO, Im glad they are so helpful (NOT)

Maytagsux update.  OE all day Sat april 4, repairman showed up Monday the 6th and of course machine worked fine--Murphy's Law! $73 service call charge, but if it happened again in next 6 weeks would only have to pay for parts....gee thanks.  He just basically looked at my user manual and said IF he did come back he would just call Maytag.  OE error again following Sat. the 11th, made appt. for Tues. the 13th.  Happened to try again and it worked for some reason...cancelled Tues. appt.  Now same problem again tonight, april 17 but this time OE appeared almost right away as opposed to the rinse/spin cycles.   Have tried everything here except disconnecting and reconnecting water supply hoses.  Have turned them off and on a few times though.  According to manual OE is water sensor valve/pressure switch...dealer here says he has NEVER had to order one of those!   I've had the drain pump apart looking for obstructions, tested the hose for the pressure switch, unplugged everything, opened the door manually etc etc.  This was the first time I had to open it up and have a look at the inside of the machine, and was unimpressed to find as massive dent in the back of the machine where the water supply hoses connections are located.  This dent was conveniently hidden by the top cover of the machine, and would only be visible if you were looking at the machine from the rear or had the cover off.  When we called the store for service, noticed in the phone book ad that they sell scratched and dented appliances as well as "good" ones.  Nobody told us we were buying a dented model.  Frustrated and angry. Pulled out the other manual with the "warranty" in it tonight...1 yr parts/labor...had this set for just over 2 years

Just resolved same problem...it is the pressure switch aka water level sensor.  OE is overflow error.  Pressure switch is located under top cover on front right hand side.  It is round and has a rubber tube leading down to the drum and a electrical connection to the board.  Paid maytag man to diagnose/install cost me about $150

I had to unplug my washer. Shut the water inlet, and then turn it back on and it worked fine. However the problem keeps repeating. At least you can finish the load.

Our Maytag Neptune Front load washer keeps displaying code 3E (NOT code E3). It will do so repeatedly until I give up for a day or so until forced to wash again at which time it work fine for 5 or 6 loads or go straight to 3E depending on which way the wind is blowing. Although my web research has found that this is a very common problem Maytag has been no help at all. The recall does not apply to this problem. I have called 3 different repair services reapeatedly and not a single one will call back. After 45 minutes of complaining to Maytag they said they would give me 20% off of a new model washer in their fine family of washers or 25% off of any parts. So far I've found others on web that had same problem & it was a circuit board that cost approx. $260.00 to repair. I'm at a loss as to whether to have machine repaired, have hubby look at it or beat it with a sledgehammer. Anyone have any luck with same problem?

Water not coming into tub just makes clicking sound and FH code

I think the solenoid operated inlet valve has failed, for which ever inlet is turned on. This is a very common fault.

Every other load we have OE coming up, also the drowm will not spin

LG washing machine error code - OE

The LG error code OE simply means "the pump is blocked". Presumably the water isn't being emptied properly. As with all error codes it is possible that there is a cause other than the exact description in the error code explanation but basically this error means as far as the washing machine is concerned it thinks the water isn't pumping out. A pump, or filter blockage is the most common cause but it could be caused by other faults such as a faulty pump, or even a blockage in the drain hose or somewhere else in the system etc

Oe flashing does not spin

It's the pump motor - I pluged it into the machine and ran a test cycle (service manual link below) and there was the grinding noise. NOTE - I also tested the spin through the QC test mode (see pg 15 of manual) and that worked fine. BTW I pulled the pump out from under the washer instead of taking the whole thing apart much, much easier.
