The black wire coming from the power cord connects to one side of the switch and the other black and the red wire go to the other side of the switch. If it turns on with the switch in the off position reverse the sides. Good luck. If you need anymore help just ask. Please rate me so I know if I helped. Thanks.

If this uses a cogged belt, it should not fall off unless it is the wrong one. Give me the whole model #, then I can look and see what you have. The number of the power head is needed.

if the switch is still connected the take one wire off at a time and put it on the new switch if you do it that way you can't make a mistake.try and get a wirng diagram from eureka or take it in and let a proffesional do it
