I have model GSD4030Z05WW and the drain filter screens do not seem to be removable (bolts not screws). Any advice? My dishes are not getting clean.

http://www.appliancepartspros.com/ge-sump-cap-wd12x418-ap2039198.html is the cover to the sump.It may be screwed down but should not be bolted. The screw may be cap screws that are either 5/16 or 1/4 inch. If you have removed that and the vertical screen leading to the pump is dirty you can use a tooth brush to clean it or you can remove the whole pump assembly from the bottom of the machine to get to it better. In order to do that you have to uninstall it from the counter, drain it and lay it down to see the bottom.

Won't drain

  1. Food & debris are blocking the drainage basket (or drain screen) inside the tub, in the far back
  2. Food is clogging the drain hose - the long tube that runs under the sink

HOW DO I DRAIN WATER FROM MY SMEG DISHWASHER

There is a screen filter at the bottom of most dish washers, if the screen gets dirty it probly won't drain properly. Check the screen and clean if neccesary. If not that, then pump may be getting weak.

I have a GE Dishwasher Model: PDW7800G00BB and when I close the door it trips the breaker on the Breaker Panel. What would cause this?

Check the breaker carefully, it may have a GFI (Ground Fault Interrupter) built in. If it doesn't say anything about this on the breaker, look for a small 'test' button which is used to test the breaker's reaction to a fault condition. If it is GFI equipped, water has gotten into areas where it did not belong and is causing ground currents to flow activating the GFI.
If it is not so equipped, then the motor has probably failed drawing excessive current causing the breaker to trip.

Where?s the filter on my GE WSXH208A Front Loader? Thank you beltronic205 (GE WSXH208A Front Loader won?t drain). I drained the tub by lowering the drain hose as suggested. But where is the filter, what...

There is no acutal filter on this unit...You cab remove the back panel to access the drain pump ...Or tilt the washer back and access it from the bottom...Remove the drain hose from tub to drain pump...(careful of flow of water from tub)...Check the hose for any blockage...If no blockage then your pump is bad..

My dishwasher doesn't drain at all. I have run it through cycles and it still doesn't drain.

My dishwasher has a checkvalve at the back behind the screen and when it goes the pump just recirculates water in the tub. Make sure the solenoid on the bottom is actuating. If the screen at the back is really dirty, it might be a sign that the checkvalve is gone. Hope that helps. My dishwasher is a GE.

My GE dishwasher PDW7800G00BB leaks at the bottom / middle of the door. There is no gasket, what could it be?

hello mam
please check the 'o' ring of the drain line inside the washer it will be worn out please change this ring and there should be a gasket to avoid the water leakage of the water from the door so please call the engineer he will help you to work on these.

GE profile dishwasher won't drain

Common cause of this problem is a partially blocked drain line. Disconnect drain line and make sure entire path is clear, including where it connects to the sink drain or garbage disposal. Also, make sure all screens and the drain area at the bottom of the dishwasher are completely clear.

Dishwasher drains but leaves behind about 1/2" of standing water

Water standing in the bottom of the tub is normal.
A small amount of clean water around the outlet on the tub bottom at the back of the tub keeps the water seal lubricated.

GE Max Dishwasher won't drain

I had the same problem with my GE Max model gsd6260k. I could hear it trying to drain and some small amounts of water going into the sink drain pipes but it never emptied it all there was aprox 1/2 inch of water that's 1.25 cm aprox for the metric lovers... lol
What i did was...Clean out all debris that was there.
There is a small basket (aka screen) just behind the bottom arms just a tad to the right i lifed it up enough to get a turkey baster into the opening (drain?). I coudn't seem to find the screws without taking all the bottom apart to get the basket out, as the water line going up the back to the center arms is there. Then i used the baster to remove water and i kept squeezing the air forcefully from the baster into the hole. This help, i don't know if it was a clog or what but i let the tub start to fill with water and then hit the start button again which makes it drain out. It was definately draining faster. when it finished there was no more water in the bottom of dishwasher.
