SOURCE: how to fit a flame failure device to rangemaster 55

the part that you need is the oven ignitor, located nest to the oven burner. that part gets hot to open the gas to the burner, that will make the oven work again.

SOURCE: my rangemaster 55 oven, stays

common problem,it will most probably be the solenoid FF device fitted by the oven burner, these can be obtained from Gas On Spares on 0121-585-7799.the will need the model number and serial number. however you are quoting two different models the Rangemaster 55 is a freestanding cooker and the 90D is a built in unit and the parts are different

Rangemaster 55 leisure. My timer has stopped working

Hi Stella,

i am sorry for you, but you can forget repairing the timer.
You can replace it of course.
You do not need the timer to operate the oven.
For that you need to bypass the timer. The clock will stay working normally.
Although the 55 is smaller then the 110, the working of the clock should be the same.
Net link will give you more information and I hope you will fin the solution there.
Kind regards and a good weekend, Dik

Leaky door on Rangemaster 110 Dual Fuel

Hello John,

these doors open on the side, they have the hinges under and above, with screws, at least when they look like the ones in the link.
These hinges can be adjusted with the screws at the bottom.
I wish you good luck, Dik

Door glass shattered 3 hours after cooking

The problem is that the holding screws that secure the glass in place were most likely OVER TIGHTENED.All the screws around the support holders of the glass have to be tightened just right and the glass can cool off without the pressure that makes it pop.

Leisure rangemaster 55 gas cooker

It sounds exactly the same as I am experiencing on my oven of the same model. My theory is that the full flame gas is controlled by a thermostat, and that this has broken hence why the oven only stays on preheat. This will be a matter of a replacement part. Most likely the thermostat is a bi-metal strip that, because it has heated and cooled so many times in it's life it has simply finally given up. Try searching online for the correct part and get a corgi registered fitter or another suitably qualified fitter to come and replace it.
