Check AC power cord & connections, then possibly fuse or capacitors in Power supply PCB or Main PCB

Nothing happens when I push the power button on the front panel of NAD917 Preamp. Any idea why? Is there a way to reset the box?

Probably a fuse in the unit. Unplug it and open it. If you see a blown fuse, take it out and look at the writing on the metal part. buy a fuse with the same power ratings.

My Sony receiver amplifier model number Str-de315 has just stopped working clicks on 2 lights come on but nothing else k

no front panel display means one of twot hings: either the power transformer is blown, or the main power fuse. If the main power fuse is blown, then there are likely to be shorted output transistors that will need to be replaced.

If the light on the front panel is on but nothing happens when you press the power button there may be a blown fuse inside or a failed power supply

if no any stand by light indicator at the front panel, it was a power supply board failure. check for any blown fuse.

My hitachi 60v710 wont turn on

Have you checked the main fuse to see if its blown? If thts blown its indicating a short if its not blown then cahnces are its the power supply causing the issue since no power indicator is lit. If you need further assistance let me know.

Lost all electrical power. Battery is good. Is there a main fuse or breaker. The only lights that come on are the dash lights and the small light on the front fender.

If the main fuse blows, nothing works. Not even the dash lights. Look under the seat for the fuse box. Once you find which fuse is blown, then you can trace out that circuit.

If they are both gone, you either have a bad ground wire or broken wire. See if you have power back there. The bulbs could be both burnt out.

Green indicator light flicks about 3-5 times

The power supply has likely detected a short circuit. Hold the front panel INPUT and MENU buttons down for 5 seconds then read the code from the green light. If the light flashes a 2-2 code (2 flashes, followed by a 1/2 second pause, followed by 2 flashes) then pico fuses are blown. A 1-2 code indicates that nothing is wrong. The likely cause for blown pico fuses (FA904 & FA905) is a bad convergence driver IC. The PC board must be resoldered to replace the ICs and fuses.
