Question about Bosch B22CS50SNS Side by Side Refrigerator

Freezer not cooling after self test done

Yesterday our fridge alarm sounded. This often happens even though we thought we had closed the door(s) properly. Yesterday we left the house around 8:30 AM and no alarm was sounding. When we returned at 3:00 PM the alarm was sounding so we opened and reclosed the freezer/fridge doors. This morning we ran the appliance self test as described in the fridge manual on page 26. It did not result in displaying and "E" for error nor did it indicate any fault. At the end of the test the display showed that the inner temperature had reached 3 deg. How do we get the freezer to work properly?

the frig part not cooling though the freezer works is usually caused by bad air flow due to restriction somewhere. check ur vent settings and make sure not defective, the door rubber insulation may also be defective and not sealing properly after closing? and thus cool air escapes? but if ur feeling noticing air flow from the freezer but not in the fridge, the flow is obstructed, if the flow is off and on, do u notice the sound of the fan always running or does it go off and then on, it may be defective, the only time fan should go off is when in defrost mode?

Hi,I bought a fisher and paykel refrigerator E450r model for over 2 yrs now. Once you open the door, you can hear a beep sound. You can also hear this sound while the door is open and even when the door is...

I unfortunately bought the F & P 450R upright fridge with the matching freezer, recommended to us by Winnings. Expensive and possibly the worst ever appliance purchase I have made. The door handle design is pathetic and once again today, has come apart. The fridge constantly freezes up which then affects the fan, which in turn stops the fridge getting cold. To date, we have had the F & P service out, he first said he needed to get it back to the factory and we'd be up for about $900. After we advised that wasn't happening, he replaced the control unit, which had didn't clear the problem (although still cost me $300). Having no confidence in F & P, we contacted a fridge mechanic with a good name. He closed his eyes when he saw the brand and mumbled, Kiwi's revenge. Long story short, over 3 visits he, adjusted the inadequate door sensor, refitted a temp sensor which had broken from its poorly designed plastic holder, replaced all the sensors and in the end said sorry, but you have bought a lemon. I now have a choice of buying a new fridge which wont match the freezer, buy a new fridge and freezer, even though the freezer is fine, or continue with what we do now, turn the fridge off every other day for 4 or 5 hours to defrost it. My solution, do not go near Fisher and Paykel, the service and machines are just not up to it.

if the freezer is ok,the damper of the ref side is close need to adjust or replace,2 is the sensor is the sensor is defective the ref side not cooling even the sensor of freezer side if defective may cause why not cooling in ref side, its hard explain to remove or to check the unit by its your self, much better call an service technician to check what the exactly coz why not cooling, and you get a warranty for the service compare you buy a part, but you dont know what how to test the part if is ok or not.

Hi,
The problem could be a bad bearing in the condenser or evaporator fans...more likely though is that the evaporator fan is hitting an ice build up on the coils...this can be caused by a bad defrost timer...
more closely check on the sound... you will find it....

a few drops of oil on the fan shafts just ahead of the motor will not hurt either...

You need to check the temp in the freezer to make sure it's down to around 10 degrees. The alarm will go off much above that.
