I think you're ok, but get a second opinion. Usually it's voltage that is important to get right.

Just make sure you keep the values the same. Don't use underated caps and yes change those 4 caps. If you keep the same rating the caps should be the same size. Nichicon has always been a sorry cap. Try to get different brands if possible.

I have lg plasma i heare clicking sound when i turn on and there still picture for few minutes and it's gone but i could still heare the sound clear.

There's a good chance you have failing electrolytic capacitors either in the power section or the inverter section or both.
Any caps in these sections that look bulged at the top, or bulged/leaking at the bottom need to be replaced.
If you repeatedly turn it on, eventually it'll probably stay on, but every time you turn it off, the TV will get harder and harder to start up until one day it just won't.
Sometimes you have to do the opposite to start it up and unplug it for 5 mins, then try.

If you aren't tech savvy, this unit needs to go in for repair.

If you are handy with a soldering iron and can identify the power supply and inverter / FM section for the backlights, an inexpensive handful of capacitors will likely fix you right up.
Match the capacitance on the capacitors. Go over voltage if you can, and still have them fit.
IE - it's not a bad idea to replace a 10V cap with a 16V or 25V or even a 50V, but don't replace a 680uF cap with a 500uF or a 1000uF (unless you are positive it's only doing ripple filtering, and even then, you should go OVER, not under the uF rating).

Most of the caps that go are 10V 1000uF or 3300uF.

I found some great videos of the procedure (for many Samsungs with the same issue) on youtube.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8l0AUj8QUkg&NR=1&feature=fvwp
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7b_nTaZYcU&feature=related

As you can see, this issue spans plasma TVs, as well as large and small LCD TVs and monitors.
The parts are cheap, and skill required is minimal.

Can i replace a 3300uf 10v capacitor with a 400v 22uf capacitor

The short answer is no. You can replace a 3300uf 10V cap with a cap of similar value but a slightly higher voltage (3300uf 16V or 25V).

Changing the capacitance value will significantly alter the circuit. Please note that the value listed suggests that it is a component in the power supply, specifically a filter cap.

Two problems 1) when turning on it frequently shuts off then shuts on for three or four times 2) sometimes when turning it on the screen will have purple pixels scattered accross the picture.

This might be two seperate problems, But sometimes just this simple one can fix both. You power supply is bad. The caps. used in them are under rated at 10 volt and should be at 16 volt or better. They should be replaced and that should fix your problem. REPLACEING the power supply will just have the same problem happening again. If the purple dots do not go away, Can be the T-con/LCD controll board or the main PCB board. Have the power supply repaired.
If you are good at soldering? The caps that are bad,the tops of them look rounded and are NOT flat.
They also have a neg - side. Important put the neg - side where it belongs, board should be marked - or circle w/one side darker or lines in it. That is the neg side.Common bad Caps are 1000uf 10v,1500uf 10v,2200uf 10v,and 3300uf 10v. Replace the same "uf" rating but with a 16-25 volt or higher.

37mf23id magnavox takes 15 min to come on . its a magnavox which is made by philips

You need to replace the power board,Or replace the capactors on it.
Replacing the capactors is the best idea. They are under rated at 10volt insted of 16volt or higher. They cost less too. If you replace the board, you will still have the same problem again later. They are usualy 680uf 10v,1000uf 10v,2200uf 10v,and 3300uf 10v. Replace them with the same uf but 16v or 25v EXPANPLE use... 1000uf 16v or 1000uf 25v
They are polorised Blak spot on board is the - side of cap. Stripe on cap is -. The caps. swell if they are bad. The tops round out,or the X on top breaks anfand black or brown goo comes out. Top should be flat. It I can assist you further please feel free to ask. toddthetvmd@yahoo.com

Blinking Green light after Capacitor kit replacement WD-62725

I just repaired two Mit WD-62725 sets in the last two weeks.
The first one had bad caps on the power board and the FMT board. The scond one had bad caps on four out of the five boards.
Also, on the FMT board, there was a blown surface-mount fuse.
I advise checking all of the boards for bad caps. If you fine a bad 1000uf cap, replace all of the 1000uf's on the board.
Hop this helps,
Dan

The projector comes on, lights up but then shuts off after 30 seconds

My TDP-T9 had the same symptoms. A 3300uF 10V electrolytic cap in the power supply (Liteon) unit was domed up, so I replaced it with a high-spec 2200uF 16V cap costing three dollars. The re-flow solder on the board was damn hard to melt though, needed 400°C setting on the soldering iron.

Astar 30" LTV 3001 ....These TV's have a cooling problem that causes premature electrolytic capacitor failure. De-solder and Test all the 2200uF-25v, 3300uF-35v and 1000uF-10v caps in the power supply (center board, back of TV). Use a good LCR meter that will read 3300uF or better, Replace all bad caps with 105c rated caps. If you don't have an LCR meter, replace all the mentioned caps on the PS. If fuse on board is blown, also replace the F9222L regulator IC chip. Mounting a small cooling fan on rear of TV over the PS will help keep your new caps from failing again. This requires holes in the stand bracket and the rear of the TV, power can be supplied from a 14V source near the bottom of the PS board.

My tv won't turn on

Replace 19 caps in the power supply, 4) 3300uf/35v, 8) 2200uf/25v, 6) 1000uf/10v, 1) 1000uf/16v and ESR the remaining caps for good measure. That should repair the problem in about 99% of the cases. I do several of these a month...
