How do I find books by author Dennis DeMartin

Disclaimer: I am neither employed nor reimbursed by Amazon or Google!

One way is to go to Amazon.com and enter the author's name in the search box. Or, use the Google search engine (if you don't normally use Google, go to Google.com first) and search "author Dennis DeMartin" (otherwise, you'll get a ton of irrelevant hits about the now-infamous former juror in the John Goodman case). If you do want to see books by that DeMartin, then just leave off the word "author" in your search.

I want to go back to google and google + instead of bing which popped up and I did not want it

To make Google your default search engine, in Chrome, click the three bars to the far right of the Chrome browser, click Settings, Set the programs you want to run as your Home Page, removing Bing, then click "Manage Search Engines", and get rid of the engines you don't want to keep by clicking the X when you hover over them, and click "Make default" on the one you prefer. Also remove Bing from "Programs and Features" within the Control Panel. Other browsers have a similar way to change search engine preferences: sometimes by an icon next to the Search box that lets you "Manage" them.

Sometimes when you download a program, or an update for a program, there will be a box/button to add Bing as your search engine, and maybe a toolbar too. In the future, always look at the different prompts that pop up and deselect the buttons for such extras.

At the address bar there is a smaller search box which has a down arrow on the left. Click this and select google. If you want it as your homepage, go to google then go to the tools menu, options then on the general tab it will have your homepage, select use current page then OK.

Website keeps coming up in Spanish and I need English in order to register the product I purchased

Go to the Google search homepage.

Type in the search key in the search box.

If your search key yields pages that can be translated by Google, it will have a 'Translate this page' link.

Click on the 'Translate this page' link.

Alternatively, go to Google's language tools page.

Enter the text you want to translate and select the language to which you want translation in the Translate section.

If you want to translate a web page, you can enter the link in the relevant box and choose the language to which you want to translate.

Choose one of the many translators available online.

Try searching the CNET downloads selection, which includes user and editorial reviews.

or

http://download.cnet.com/client-for-google-translate/3000-2279_4-10920739.html

Now you can translate web-pages, electronic mail and other documents without opening online-translation sites and buying expensive bulky programs.

hope this helps
