I have problem with my 5500 hp: check printhead path 2

The most common cause of the Check Print Head Path Error 2 is a worn out carriage belt. Open the top cover and locate the carriage belt. It is the long thin belt that extends the full length of the plotter. Use a light and look under the belt for debris that looks like pencil erasure crumbs. If the crumbs are there, the belt is disintegrating and needs to be replaced. See: http://www.lpscomputer.com/c-732-designjet-5000-5500-belt.aspx

Hp designjet 2000cp code 050000 00180516 help us .

05000, on the 2000cp is the printer can not find the mark encoder, inside your printer there is a roller running left to right that the media will sit on,
on the far left side were the roller ends there is a small piece of white plastic that should sit in the vertical position. the sensor on the carriage is not able to find this.
Once you see it, clean with a q-tip, slightly dampened, and also change the lens on the carriage.
Power on the printer when finished and see if it will go to the ready status,

Replacement carriage belt for HP DesignJet 800

The part number is; C7769-60182 runs at around $70.00.
This component needs to be installed by a service technician. You can seriously damage this plotter if you remove the carriage ribbon connectors and do not install them properly. You will fry the pca board (a $1,100 mistake).
