Slow operation. Window says site not responding. Then it shuts down.

indicates that then hard drive is on the way out
first step is to save everything onto an external hard drive
then take it to a computer repair shop for an inspection
check how much space is on the hard drive because if you have a lot of junk on it , that slows down the start up and shut down p[rocesses
you can go to device manager and do a defrag of the hard drive to free up space

what problem is that ? do you get any error message or is it slow ? if its slow try to do system restore as some recent installation would have made your pc slow

Go to the tools section TAB on internet explorer and click on the last line that has Internet options
When the window pops up you will see the DELETE box highlighted. Click onto that to clean out your history to speed up your computer

However, there is an easy way to narrow-down the issue.
I'd try the mouse/keyboard on another PC, and check it's action. If it works there, then perhaps drivers from the manufacturer's website can be installed on the PC referred to.

ok sounds like you unit is in very serious need of cleaning and maybe even some virus removal.
to scan and remove viruses ( click here ). install this to your computer and allow it to scan and remove any found threats.
also click start then run or command prompts .
type : cookies.
a page will pop up. you will need to delete everything in this except index. index is a system file and can not be deleted. close this window and empty recycle bin. now you will need to repeat this step but this time you will type in : temp
delete everything in this window. these are the things that will slow your computer down. you will also need to do a disk clean up. and a disk defrag.
after that you computer will be running faster.
also i subjest removing some things from your start up menu. this will slow the computer down from shutting down quickly.

More than likely , but try some silicone spray down sides where window slides up & down, (felt) it may help lessen the load on the motor. I have extended the life by removing door panel & lubricating all the slides & guides the window runs up & down on. It may buy you some time anyway.

try this-
ctrl+alt+delete -> shutdown(in the menu) -> ctrl+shutdown(in menu)

This will shutdown your computer in 5 sec.

menu window shows "shutting down...." but does not respond to anything. We cannot even turn printer off. Will not respond to any key. Help.
(Plus we misplaced our manual!)
