Question about Pioneer XM2go Inno Satellite Radio Receiver

Have an Inno 2go, while listing today the radio fell silent the said "please wait"

Have an Inno 2go, while listing today the radio fell silent. The screen read "please wait", so I waited and waited. Changed the battery and nothing, tried to reboot and still got "please wait". Looked online for a solution and found this site. Just when I began to write this I tried one more time and the **** thing came on and began to scan the files and now works just fine. This is my 4th inno and I still don't understand the gremlins in the system. Does anyone understand what happend this morning?

SOURCE: Pioneer Inno FM modulator

Make sure it is docked in the docking cradle for the car. The option will not come up if the unit is not in the docking cradle.

The problem is caused by a glitch in the firmware that came on your Inno. It can be easily fixed by downloading a free firmware update at http://fwupdt.xmradio.com.

SOURCE: Inno music transfer!

BASICALLY here's what I do: Connect the headphone jack to my PC soundcard's "Line In"; while playing back a song I want to keep, record the song.

Need details on how to record what you hear playing on your PC? Or are you mostly interested in a simple file copy process that lets you sweep songs off of your Inno and onto your PC?

I believe mgross41 is correct re: songs that XM grabbed for you.

SOURCE: Pioneer Inno - Powers on, great signal - but audio or pad data!

I'm assuming the power button it not in 'hold' position, and you have the volume turned up, and/or on the correct frequency with the adjoining radio?

Pioneer inno radio-doesn't work in car

When its in the car dock, the Inno sends an FM signal to the car radio. It does not receive a signal from the car radio. You must have the external antenna correctly installed outside the vehicle for the Inno to work. The built in antenna is disabled when the device is placed in the car dock. Make sure to test it outside, since garages or car ports will block the signal.

Not sure if this will help but I noticed that the modulator won't show up if you have your head phones, ear buds, cassette adapter etc. hooked up. Unplug any line out and see if it helps.
