Specs for arctic king chest freezer model w8s-185c1ws how many watts does it use

Specs don't appear to be available. Freezers are usually rated in amps. To find the watts, multiply the amps by the voltage. Would also depend on the cubic feet of the freezer as the bigger the freezer, the more amps the compressor draws.

Only thing I could find is its energy star rating.

I have had my freezer for a couple of years and probably only used it 6 times. The motor makles a roaring noise and sparks are coming out of it? Any idea what it might be. I checke the price of a new...

My 6 qt electric was making noise and finally quit spinning. I pulled it apart and the change gear (gear reducer) was wallowed out. This meant the gear rocked away from the motor's drive gear. I called White Mountain to see if I could get a replacement gear and they said I'd voided the warranty because I took the 3 screws out to pull apart. Basically, they are using **** gears, know it, and doing the song and dance to not have to replace. So, I've got a motor that works, housing, and one bad gear that makes the whole unit worthless.

Looking at new freezer, what is the difference between Turbo air TSF-23sdr and TSF-23nm? product specs would not download. thks

Do you mean the MSF-23NM and the TSF-23SD? If so, you can find the information for them here:

http://www.turboairinc.com/TB-Products/Soliddoor.html

Basically, the difference between the two is that the MSF-23NM runs on more amps and is a new "maximum" series that Turbo Air came out with.

http://www.missionrs.com/MSF-23NM.html
http://www.missionrs.com/TSF-23SD.html

The product spec sheets at the two links above should be easy to download from our site. If you have any trouble, you can call us at 1(800)319-0690.

Kenmore leaking oil

Hi!!

You have a Refrigerant Gas (Freon) leak. Oil travels with the Refrigerant Gas thru the system, that's why you see the oil on the drip pans, if you look closely you should be able to know where is coming from.

For what you are telling me, it seems that the leak is of considerable size, I recommend to ASAP take freezer to a Kenmore authorized service station for a repair estimate, then you can decide to fix it or get a new one. If you call a repair tech, he will charge for the house call regardles.

Good Luck

make sure you are using the right freon for the right oil.eg...new gasses can not pump old mineral oil therfore you sould make sure you are using a poly-ester oil, otherwise get hold of some old cfc gas..goodluck.
