Hello Friend, thank you for allowing me to assist you!
If you are getting an error code P1 on your Frigidaire air conditioner, normally it indicates that the bottom tray is full. Carefully remove your air conditioner to a drain location and remove the bottom drain plug and allow the water drain. Then restart your appliance and P1 symbol should disappear after you have let your appliance run. However, if the error code continues, at this point, I would recommend reaching out to a professional to proceed further. - Z
Hi Kirby, thank you for allowing me to assist you!
Error code ES and P1 are commonly referred to a sensor
failure. Because it is a smaller appliance, repairs are often more costly than
the actual unit replacement. Is your appliance still in warranty? If so, you
might want to reach out directly to the manufacturer to determine the coverage on
your air conditioner and the procedures to any potential remedy in that regard.
Hi Kathleen King - Typically when the error code P1 displays on panel it indicates that the unit has a sensor error. I would recommend contacting a professional to accurately diagnose and repair the unit.
Needed the manual to clarify a P1 error message. Figured how to fix the error P1 on my own. there are two drains on the unit, one is always open as an overflow drip, the other at bottom of unit has a plug. I opened the plug at the bottom of the unit, drained the water, and the P1 error code cleared.
