Test the LED ON, hit any key use the camera digital or cell, otherwise open the r.control and clean for dirty, oxide, corrosion, use alcohol isopropyl. replace old batterie use the new ones, and clean the contacts batteries, tight the spring with plier for better contact.

I had a same problem with sharp LC-40LE340E. The service told me to change motherboard but I decided to buy a new LG TV.
