Oven Clock Keeps Flashing

My Fisher and Paykel BI602 oven is not working and I can't set the clock. Nothing happens when you push the hand and the - or + buttons as the manual directs. Oven won't work without the clock working. All I get is "OOOO" and auto shown on the clock display panel

I have a Fisher & Paykel OS302. The temperature and oven mode selects are dead, no LED display, no operation. The clock module is working. This happened all at once, I tried to turn it on and both...

This sounds as if the electronic clock timer is in automatic mode. It must be in manual mode for the oven to work. Turn the oven on and play around with the timer controls/buttons. When the oven indicator light comes on the clock is in manual mode.

My f&p wall oven model number BI602 is not reaching temperature

Most likely you have a faulty fan element- this is a round element that goes around the fan at the back. To check- Disconnect from power(easiest way is to switch off oven at fuse board). Remove rear panel inside oven (held on by screws), and visually check element- often you will see a blow mark on the element. Element is easily changed, although sometimes requires oven to be removed to access element wires from the back. Proceed if you are a confident DIYer, otherwise call a local service agent. Elements are readily available for $75-$125 depending on the retailer.

You need to set the clock to the correct time and this should take it out of automatic mode, it should then work o.k

We flipped off the designated breaker to the oven and turned it on again. We were then able to reset the clock. This has happened to us several times.
