Why can I only tune in one channel

Tuner fault. Check and replace it. Do a reset to this TV first, and then check. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.

How I solve the channel overlapping?

This is down to the head alignment. Once that is corrected the sound will recorded normally and playback normally too. However any tapes recorded during the fault will not play right.

The head alignment can be corrected, using two adjusting screws located either side of the head. To get at them the door cover has to be removed. To align you play a pre-recorded good quality tape. You adjust the screws till the sound is bright and clear and only the sound recorded on that side of the tape can be heard. Best done with headphones. If you can use a commercial music tape. If you use the decks own recordings it might not be right.
If there is any damage to the head mounting you will not be able to get the alignment right.
PS use the right screwdriver for the head screws. These are very small and easily wear away. If you wear the screw head away you might have a job getting a new small screw that will fit.

Why my connection speed to WRT-688 only shows 72Mbps not 150Mbps?

Ok, connection speed depends on few things:

1) Spatial streams (or pipes and antennae) you have on each side of the link (e.g. in your device's wireless card and your router)

2) Selected Channel Width ( auto, 20 or 40 Mhz).

3) Channel your router is broadcasting on and the noise and interference of neighbouring networks in the selected channel.

In order to achieve the highest wireless speed possible :

1) It is better to at least match the number of spatial streams ( or simultaneous connections in your wireless adapter,

2) Activate a channel width of auto, (which will check and switch channel width according to the good neighbour policy) or manually force it to use 40 Mhz mode (often called afterburner) both in your router and your device wifi driver. Auto mode will check if 40 Mhz mode is supported, and, if does not interfere with neighbouring networks it will switch to it automatically. 40 Mhz mode uses two channels separated by a gap of 5 channels to pass data instead of only one, so there can be signal overlapping and interference.

3) And finally, if there is congestion on any given channel you use try to set up your router so it uses a less congested one. (recommended channels are 1, 6 and 11 because with these you can have the chance to use dual channel with the least overlapping and noise).

I'm attaching the next chart because it may be useful to you when trying to understand more about wireless channels and their implications as this clearly depicts them.

Where is the auto convergence button

Hello
From it menu option, suf through and come to automatic convergence display option and press Ok button on the remote control.

The List & Labels part of the setup lets you edit your channel list and choose or create a

personal six-character label for each channel.

Note: Changing List and Labels can be time consuming. You can change these at a later time by accessing the

Setup menu.

1. Press the left or right arrow to scroll through the available channels and choose the

channel you want to edit.

2. Press the down arrow to highlight the In channel list option. Press the left or right arrow

button to add (the box is checked) or remove (the box is unchecked) the channel from the

list.

3. Press the down arrow to highlight the Channel label option. Press the left or right arrow

button to scroll through the available list of 25 most common labels. The last option in

the list allows you to create your own six-character label for the channel (the first letter of

the label is highlighted).

4. Press the 1 or 2 number button to change the first letter of the label.

5. Press the right arrow to highlight the second letter, then press the 1 or 2 number button

to change the second letter, etc...

6. When you are finished creating your label, press OK. For model D34W20, your TV tunes to

the last channel available in your channel list. For models D40W20 and D52W20 only, the
Auto Convergence menu appears next.

Auto Convergence (for models D40W20 and D52W20 only)

Your TV's picture tubes might have been disturbed during delivery or after you moved the TV,

causing the color in your TV to be out of alignment. The colors adjust by starting auto

convergence.

1. Press OK to begin auto convergence.

2. When the auto convergence is complete, the Red center convergence menu appears. The

cross in the middle of the screen should be yellow. If it is not, use the arrow buttons to

move the red cross to overlap the green cross. Press OK when adjustments are complete.

3. The Blue center convergence menu appears with a cyan cross in the middle of the screen. If

it is not, use the arrow buttons to move the blue cross to overlap the green cross. Press OK
(the TV tunes to the last available channel in the channel list).

Iv had an n64 before so i think i have a good idea of how to set it up. i've managed to tune my tv in to find where abouts it is but there's only a black screen.i can turn the n64 off an the tv screen goes...

Adjust the vertical or horizontal hold controls. This is helpful even if regular TV stations come in fine. If your TV has an automatic fine tuning control (called AFC or AFT), turn it OFF. Use the manual fine tuning dial to adjust the picture. If turning OFF the AFC/AFT causes your TV to display in black and white, then leave the AFC/AFT ON. Slide the Power Switch on the Control Deck to the ON position. While the control deck remains ON, turn the TV off for 10 second then back on again. This resets your AFC/AFT so that it will tune in the signal from the control deck.

Move your control deck farther away from your TV. If the control deck is too close to the TV, the control deck may cause some interference.

Can i keep three D link access points on 6 channel

Generally, you don't want any overlap with WiFi when it comes to transmittion frequencies.

If they're close enough to overlap and interfere with each other, they should be running on their own channels.

Even if they are part of a roaming network, with the same SSID, they need to be on different channels to work optimaly.

2.4GHz cordless phone interference with my laptop

The 2.4 spectrum only has 3 channels that don't overlap. There are a total of 14 channels in all. Channels 1,6,11 don't overlap with other devices. Set your wireless access point to 6 (strongest channel) and your phone to another non-overlapping channel (1, 11). That should solve your problem. If it does not, then one of the devices you have is not digitally tuned and is causing interference on neighboring channels. The proximity of the phone's base station in relation to the wireless access point or laptop can also have an effect especially if the spectrum is dirty. Hope this helps!
