Hi, Did Pro rider set the scooter up ? or was it out of a box ? check out the Sale of Goods Act, have they supplied you with a faulty scooter ??? Is it fit for purpose ? If you claim on the insurance your premiums will go up...

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you require further assistance...

hi, the scooter came in a box, it said all i had to do is fix the batteries conectors together and pump up the tyes but i think the foult is down to pro rider, i have phoned and emailed many times but i get no where, the insurance say because ive not had an accident they wont fix it, the tyer as no tread so is now unsafe for me to use but i cant afford pro rider prices to get it fixed plus i dont want to give them another penny im so unhappy with them, i thought i would be better with a new scooter but ts been nothing but trouble from day one, should it be covered by the worranty?

Hi Janet ,the tire wear is classified as general wear and tear however why it happened is where the Sale of Goods act comes in and I strongly advised you to take legal advice. Coudl i please have your first four letters of your postcode ? regards Rob www.gewizrepairs.co.uk

You should be able to find that out from the serial number and a call to the manufacturer.

My dad has a pro rider road king and is wondering how to jack it up if he has a puncture ? plus how to get at the wheel bearings to grease them ?

you should be able to just put it on its side ( you may need to remove some of the plastics if they are going to get damaged but from what i can see this should not be needed ) there is normaly one bolt some makes have several bolts just undo the bolt/s and lift the wheel off.

My pro rider road king is going through front tyres at an alarming rate, can any one help with this?

it sounds like you may have it rubbing against something, check all round, it may be that the wheel / mount has been bent slightly if so it needs straitening.
