Question about Brother IntelliFax-2820 Laser Fax
My paper keeps getting stuck in the back of the machine, leaving a crumpled mess. please advise how I can fix it? P.S. We tried checking to make sure there was no debris in the machine.
When the jam occurs, is the lead edge of the paper damaged?
Does it look like it collided with something?
If so, open up the machine to expose the paper path, (You may have to remove the drum unit) and manually feed the paper into the machine to see if you can detect what it is running into.
As it should line up with the damage.
Check the placement and alignment of the paper tray, if one end is higher than the other ot could skew and jam.
Check for bottom of drum unit for springs or flaps hanging down.
Check sensors, clean and operational? (Moving Type)
Blow out machine, clean rollers with alcohol.
Hope this is of some help.
