Keep going through the whole water path, including the impeller, and the last connection at the drain.

SOURCE: drain pump won't stop

that usually happens when there is water in the base of the dishwasher where the motors are. Check to see if there is water in the base. This will trigger a float that turns off the water and on the drain pump.Remove the water and it should fill. However note that water came from somewhere, so find where it is leaking.

SOURCE: intake/drain button is flashing; drain

Hi,

If your Miele dishwasher inlet / drain button keeps flashing

  • Water inlet valve may be stuck.
  • Water supply hoses may have clogged screens
  • remove the hoses and check for screens on both ends.
  • Turn rotary selector to off.
  • Switch power off fro 5 minutes.
  • Then on again. Problem should be solved.
n the user manual there's a section on how to clean the non-return valve. It's the plastic piece under the wire below the triple filter. Did you kink the drain hose? If you don't find a clogged valve, spin the impeller wheel several times. It's under the valve inside the bottom hole where the valve came out.
Now here's the important step- Reset the fault! Power off/on the unit. If the light blinks when you turn it on, Press and hold the start button 4 seconds with the door open. Find the combination of off/on buttons to press to reset the machine in the user manual.
(Note: If the machine runs continuously as soon as you pressed on the power button, then you have water under the unit in the safety pan. ) This happens occasionally. There is a long thin bottom panel along the floor. Then there is another panel behind it. Behind, there is a pan that holds water. If too much water gets in that pan the intake/drain light comes on. (Take those two panels off, feel in the pan, if there is water pooled, then wet vacuum the pan dry. This may solve your problem )

Now select the normal wash cycle close the door and start it. The drain motor always runs first. This verifies to the brain how much water is inside the machine when it starts filling. The drain pump runs for half a minute. If you hear it running with no drain check the drain hose especially if it's connection to a disposal. Clean the disposal.. If it's not running at all the light will go on again before filling, call Miele you will need a hands on tech on location to test more. If the machine fills up with fresh water, the drain works. Watch and listen when the light comes on. Is it filling or did it start circulating? Open the door, are the baskets are dripping wet? Then it filled and circulated. If the light comes on several minutes later then call Miele you will need a hands on tech on location.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

SOURCE: Dishwasher won't drain when cycle

Hi
Dishwasher not draining issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. First make sure that the drain is not clogged and remove clogs if present. If no visible lint is present then remove the lower front access panel to check the drain filter and drain pump for any clogs, you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump completely. Also, check for any food pieces stuck near the pump impeller & clean the chopper assembly. Please note that dishwashers don't drain out the complete water such that heating element doesn't overheat. Hope this helps... Please post back for any further assistance.

My new omega washing mashine shows an E2 error code 5 miniutes into the wash how do I fix this?

Hello,

Manufactured by omega washing mashine have an electronic controlpanel that must be unlocked in order to set or make changes to your washingcycle.
E2 indicates a water leak. When a leak occurs, it trips thefloat device by dumping water into the dishwasher's base. The incoming watervalve will be switched off, and the drain pump will turn on until the sump isempty
However, if an error light is blinking on your dishwasher'scontrol panel, the panel must be reset before you can gain access. Blinkinglights on your washer control panel may signal a mechanical problem that needsto be repaired. If the lights continue to blink after you've reset the controlpanel, contact Sears to service omega washing mashine or considertroubleshooting the appliance yourself carefully.Instructions
1 Press and hold the "Heated Dry" button onyour omega washing mashine for four seconds to unlock the dishwasher controlpanel.
2 Press the "Heated Dry," "Normal Wash,""Heated Dry" and "Normal Wash" buttons one after theother, in fairly quick succession.
3 Wait for the washer to run a short diagnostic test.
4 Press the "Cancel/Drain" button at the endof the diagnostic test cycle. This should reset the control panel on your omegawashing mashine. Thankfor using fixya.
