Question about Samsung V20 XVC 2400 Notebook
I have a samsung sens laptop v20 powers on but no display on the screen what could be the solution for this kind of problem
Any sound? Does the HDD led blink during start-up? Can you hook it up to a external display? If so, what is on the screen?

Its because display driver is not correctly installed or not configured properly. Ensure you have installed the correct driver. Driver should be Intel Extreme Graphics - AGP 4x, you can get the driver from http://downloadcenter.intel.com/default.aspx . Still you can check the spec as model of graphic card might be different.
Once installation of appropriate driver is successful. It will come up with optimal resolution of screen. Please post your questions if you need further assistance.

I have a Samsung V20 for many years and I know it doesn't support a wireless connection built in. But if you connect a USB like myself you can have access to the internet wirelessly. The flikering on the screen are you sure you haven't got a screen saver switched on, you may have it set to a clear black screen and like you say have to tap the keyboard and it comes back to life. It may also have hibernation switched on which will automatically turn off the screen have so many minutes you can change all these setting by right clicking on the desktop and selecting properties and under the screen saver tab there will be a power btton you should see hibernation and other tabs across the top these can be altered to whatever you want.
Hope this of use.

sounds like your new screen cable is either loose or faulty.i had same problem and was only after i had removed keyboard and ensured cable was tightly connected did i solve the problem.it seems to be a design fault in the samsung v20
