Question about Cannon Office Equipment & Supplies
Error code 5B02 apparently indicates a full waste ink pad. You should be able to find any of several web sites that will show/describe how to reset the waste ink counter. The real issue is whether or not it is worth disassembling the machine to clean/replace the pads in the bottom of the machine.

Have you tried disconnecting it from the mains supply for about 15 minuets ..? some times this clears the problem by wiping the memory,
but before you reconnect make sure you have ink and paper in the
machine.Otherwise contact Canon customer helpline they have someone there who can tell you what error 5B02 actually means ,T.C.
