Question about Electrolux Washing Machines
Front load washers of all brands are horrible things. Usually, its the cpu, which is the "brain" that tells each part what to do. Is there an error code or is it beeping?

Testimonial: "No there is no error code or beeping. I get the feeling it needs resetting after cleaning out the filter. I could be completely wrong.Do you know how to do this? Thanks"

SOURCE: spinning cycle
Keeping in mind that the soap & bleach gets dispensed into your wash on the
second to last rinse cycle and that most all rinse cycles are in cold
water. Is your cold water valve screen plugged causing your washer to
rinse poorly? Are you using the HE detergent? If not maybe the
washer is sudsing up to much and having a hard time rinsing all the
suds and bleach out and leaving the clothes soapy.
Fill the washer up with no clothes in it on a cold/cold wash setting does it take a long time to fill the washer up? Also when it is full and agitating is there suds in the washer?
Last suggestion is if the drain is hose is a lot higher than the top of the washer it might have a hard time draining out all of the soap water before the next load

When the washer initially fills for the wash, is it only hot water entering the drum? Try switching the water temperature between hot and cold as it fills. If any of them show little or no water getting through, it sounds too easy but check to make sure water supply taps are on, and that the cold/hot fill hoses aren't reversed. Remove the fill hoses and check any of the screen filters for blockage (in the hoses and in the inlet water valve). When the machine stops and waits to fill but all you hear is a hum, it sounds like there is power going to the valve but water is not able to get through it.

The LG error code OE simply means "the pump is blocked". Presumably the water isn't being emptied properly. As with all error codes it is possible that there is a cause other than the exact description in the error code explanation but basically this error means as far as the washing machine is concerned it thinks the water isn't pumping out. A pump, or filter blockage is the most common cause but it could be caused by other faults such as a faulty pump, or even a blockage in the drain hose or somewhere else in the system etc.
LG themselves have some information on this error code..

The pump may be clogged as well and needs to come off to clean it out. Get a pan or something to catch any water that will run out of the machine. Then lean the machine back to look under the machine. When you are looking under the machine look to the front right and you should see a black fan. This is your pump.Turn the fan a few times to loosen it.The fan should turn freely if not then it is binding. The pump should coime of after you unclip it and remove the ground wire and it will twist Counter clock wise and it will come off, get the pan under the pump before removing it.
Some of these models are accesable from the tub. The water pump can be accessed by removing the tub, reach down the center of the agitator and remove plastic bolt, remove the stailess steel tub and then remove the plastic oval shaped cover at the bottom of the main tub to access the pump impellor. Make sure the impellor turns freely, if it does not you may have a problem with the pump motor. here is a link to a manual. http://sites.google.com/site/sublimeappliancerepair/washer-will-not-spin/agitator-woes/dryer-will-not-work/dryer-wiring-3-wires-to-4-/dryer-timer-notes/fisher-paykel-notes/426348smartdrive-gwl03us-washer-servF%26PGWL03ElecWasher.pdf?attredirects=0
Also check all drainage from the machine to the drain for blockage

Tips for a great answer:
Thank you for your inquiry, Charles!
From my understanding you need to clean your Electrolux front load washer. The best way to clean out your washer is to use a hot water cycle and a cup of bleach. I would also recommend cleaning the front gasket using a water and bleach solution. You can visit a home store to see if they offer any type of washing machine cleaner as well. I hope this information is helpful to you. -Matt
