Have you checked for a blockage in the pipe leading to the pressure switch? Normally a clear plastic pipe leading from the bottom of the drum up to a saucer shsped diaphram switch, also check the swithh by blowing gently into the input, does it click? Check with a multimeter.

Hi.

The problem can be a defective pressure switch. The pressure switch detects water level. Pressure switch not working correctly may result in overfill. Try cleaning the rubber hose connected to the pressure switch. Check also pressure from inlet hose and look for blockage in detergent drawer.

The washing machine on/of button and the energy saver button starting blinking simultaneously half-way during my washing. The washing was done I think but it didn't rinse & spin.

Check your pump for any blockages it may not be pumping out fast enough the timer only gives the pump a certain amount of time to pump all the water out if has got some blockage than clean out and this should solve the problem.

Check the drain pump for lint blockage.
If it does not pump out water it will not spin.

When the wash is finished it doesnt drain the

Make sure that there is no blockage in the drain hose and that it is not kinked. Is the drain hose installed correctly? If you have connected your machine to a sink waste system, make sure that you have cut out the membrane from the under sink drainage system.
Ensure that the drainage system, standpipe or under sink connection is free from any blockage. - If any of the above are found to be the cause of your problem you will need to run the machine through a spin only programme. If you have chosen ‘Rinse Hold’, the light will flash until you press the ‘Rinse Hold’ button to continue the programme.

Hotpoint WMA50 won't final spin, and water stays in drum

Running with a restricted water supply probably took out the pump.
The stator requires a steady water supply for cooling and lubrication. Without this accelerated wear between the stator & magnetic poles occurs.
This additional clearance makes the magnetism insufficient to spun the impellor.

Try taking the top off, power off obviously!! and remove the draw unit, there is a pipe that runs from there to the drum.... I found a sock in mine that was the problem !!

No fast spin

Could be blockage in pump or filter, if there is a blockage then the m/c will not spin with a lot of water in it.
