(update) ok so now in the top and bottom i can hit them in the middle but in the middle one if i hit that in the middle it takes me round in a literally endless cycle which i have sat there for literally 25 mins doing hoping for a result. the only way i can callibrate it is by on the middle one touching one grid square to the right but this messes up the callibration because when it tells me to touch the 4 squares the 2 on the left are perfect the bottom righ i have to touch the whole way to the right of the screen and i cannot touch the top right one. if you need me to  make a video and upload it to youtube or something i will be more than happy to

Try running a toothbrush around the edge of your screen a bit of dirt can throw off the calibration but its more likely that you will have to replace the touch screen. good luck

My daughters ds lite has a few problems. The calibration is out and wont fix when i calibrate it. It wont play ds games but will play gameboy games. Please could you tell me if these problems cn be fixed?

The touch screen may be faulty but can be replaced. The SLOT 1 game slot may have bent pins or broken pins. Bent pins can be easily fixed (with care and patience) but replacing the SLOT 1 or the touch screen is quite difficult. It is probably repairable but only by someone who knows what they are doing.

Calibrate ds lite

If you would like to calibrate your screen...
Turn the DS on without a DS card inserted (or with auto mode turned off).
Then touch the DS icon in the bottom middle of the screen.
Press the far right yellow icon, with a crosshair in it.
You will then be taken to the calibrate screen.
Touch the small red squares on the screen as they appear.

Press confirm, exit menu.

When ever i click on one spot on my nintendo ds screen it says i clicked somewhere totally different and it is so messed up!

hit the settings button (using arrows and A) and go to the box on the far right, hit A and start the calibration test by hitting the boxes precisely

Nintendo ds touch screen

i had the same problem and have now fixed it succesfully the touch screen works like a grid and is overlayed onto an lcd screen so that when you touch the screen it makes a conection within the grid so that the machine knows where you are touching .....if one of these grids are broken you will never calibrate your screen as the ds doesnt recognise what you are touching .....in short the answer is to replace your touch screen

Nintendo ds calibrating

Hi,
I`ne been working on my dauthers now for a few days.
I have found that in the calibrate screen, if i click the first point (top left), then click the second (bottom right), but instead if clicking the third (middle), i click 4 squares to the right. It puts me in to the test screen....... Now if i play around in the calibration screen, i can ajust where the points of contact happen. I have a feeling that its like a mirror, each one can be turned in different directions, reflecting where to pick up the stylist. If any one finds this help to them, and finds out what excatly what to do...... please, please can you leave a post, expaining what to do
