How do I connect an old 3-way toggle switch to my new 3-way dimmer?

Cookrobert- you have to determine wich wire is the common wire in the box (house). Look in the box and see wich two wires ore in the same sleave. (These will be your travelers, (more than likely a black and a red) the wire that is in its own sleave (black)with a white tied to other whites is the common. Now the dimmer will tell you wich wire is commom. Tie the tow commons together. The green wire is ground if your house does not have ground , cap it and forget the green, if your house does have a ground (bare copper wire) then connect the green to the bare wires is the house box. Now your to travelers on the house side will tie to the two travelers on the dimmer side. Once you have found the traveller's on the house side and dimmer travelers they can be flip flopped. It dosnt matter. Just as long as they are the traveller's it will work. It sounds complicated but I'm sure you got this. I'm a 30 year electrician. (master).. I'll be looking for your update my friend. Good luck

Heater core

Remove the dash, remove all fasteners and seperate the heater core housing, remove the core. Install in reverse order. Its a tough job for a novice, i suggest let a shop do it.

Recomended cleaning for kitchen porcelain sink

Scouring powders or cleansers contain abrasives commonly used to clean and remove stubborn stains that are slow to respond to chemical action alone.

However, use of an abrasive cleaner may scratch and damage smooth finishes such as porcelain, fiberglass or enamel making it even more difficult to clean the surface in the future.

New kitchen and bathroom fixtures do not require a scouring cleanser to clean them of soap films and body oils. Dissolving soil by soaking with the correct non-abrasive cleaner (especially a foaming type that sticks to the surface) then wiping and rinsing usually does the job.
When cleaning older, abused fixtures, choose the mildest abrasive cleaner available such as a Soft Scrub -type product or baking soda, and apply just enough that, with light pressure, the embedded soils are loosened and may be rinsed away.

Scanner bulb warming up

Common problem with this model. You most likely need to take the scanned apart and clean the mirrors. Tough job for a novice. Average cost for a good tech to do this is $ 60.00.

if your mechanic seen no leaks from hoses or thermostat housing its sounds that either your fan clutch or your thermostat is bad. if its heats will driving streets and not highway its your fan clutch and needs to be replaced. if it overheats in streets and highway its your thermostat and needs to be replaced, you will need a thermostat and gasket with some silicone. Drain, follow the radiator hose to the housing and take 3 bolt off, clean housing well,CAREFULLY install the t-stat exactly the way is was taken out (pic), gasket, sillicone, bolt. ecc3d0c.jpg   its an easy job.
