Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3
How can I disable the external volume key on my razr v3? (It is on the side of the phone.) I carry it in my pocket, and somehow the external volume key gets pressed, then the adjacent "smart key" gets pressed, which turns off the ringer. I miss several calls that way.
I want to keep the external keys active when the phone is flipped open, but I'd like them inactive when it is closed.
Is this possible? The manual does not address this.
Many thanks in advance.
Partial solution: When phone if flipped open press CLR then * This will lock keys and side buttons, but you can still answer calls. CLR then * again will toggle keys and side buttons back on.

Only solution I can offer is change you smart keys to something other than the ringer
