Try loosening the spring shackles and put a steel block between top of axle and underneath spring then retighten the shackles [ this will act as a spacer and give more clearance ]

Blade on my 9 inch mastercraft band saw does not tension properly

Check if the tires are align. The blade must be on the center of the tires. Check for both tires for wear . You may want to
check the blade guides too. They must not touch the blade. I just purchased new tires on www.bandsawparts.com for a
friend. We've learned that his tires are well worn out that's why the blade keeps on coming off on the wheels.

2000 neon I have rubbing on the driver side floor, What could that be?

check the wheel wells and make sure your tires are not touching anything almost all cars have a hard plastic or rubber flap in the wheel wells this protects your engine from objects flying in from the tire make sure that is not touching the tire if that is not the case try taking it to a well known place such as carx or firestone just tell them you wanna know what the problem is and how much it would cost to fix it most of these places wont charge you to find the problem unless it needs a machine hooked up for diagnostics good luck and I hope this helps

The rubber ******** the top wheel comes off

Paint the tire and the wheel with contact cement and let it set till you can touch it without sticking to it, slap on the tire, you should be all set, if the tire is shot, get some new ones. Hope this helps.

Why do the coil springs on my Pontiac Torrnet sit so close to the top of my tires

"so close" isn't a quantifiable measurement... If the tires are hitting the springs then you have a problem. If not, it is just the way the suspension was designed. If you have not changed the factory wheels or tires the clearance there is as intended. If the tire and wheel combination has been changed, it is possible that you have wheels that have a deeper "offset" which will bring the tire closer to the spring. But again. as long as they are not contacting each other while driving, it does not offer any real problem. Contact will leave a scar on the inner wall of the tire. If you see that, you may want to either put a spacer between each wheel and flange or buy another set of wheels with a better offset.(don't go too far out though or the tires will then touch the fenders.)
