1. Check for no 8.4 volts DC at pin 3 of PC9A10 on the Power PCB, if low or missing replace PC9A10 part # 268P058020. 2. LED does not blink at plug in. Check for 3.3-volts DC at connector RF pin 3 (system reset) if low or missing suspect the reset switch S7L20 part # 432P109010 on the Control PCB. 3. LED does not stop blinking after plug in. Verify the standby supplies, 12-volts at connector KA pin 17, 6-volts at KA pin 18 and the 28-volts at KA pin 19, if the supplies are present suspect the DM PCB part # 934C067002 4. SOURCE: cannot turn tv on

What i did to fix the problem, and no i did not throw it off the porch which was my first idea after i received an estimite. There are 4 capcitors on the d board which a believe is the digital board. Its located to the left of the card tray and its the only board in a steel can cover. They need replacement. I bought mine at radioshack and the repair worked for me. I was later told that the radioshack caps will blow out in a few months but i had already installed them. It worked. You have to desoder the old ones out and resolder the new ones in. It cost me about 2 hours time and 5 dollars at radioshack because i needed to buy solder as well. I will try to find the directions someone sent me and post them, also i will try to find the right (cap) part number as i stated before, the radioshack ones are not going to last. You have to use HIGH HEAT cap do to all the heat the tv puts out.

Hit the front of the tv near the blinking light... give it a good rap or two. See if this helps. Helped mine. I had the same problem and the tech who came out to the house told me that it would work and it did! I could hardly believe it but it worked.

The green light on front of tv keeps flashing and tv wont turn on

Howdy,

The green light blinking indicates your TV has a problem. The problem is that each Brand of TV has different codes and with out the Brand and Model number, I can not help you at this time.

Please, count blinking sequence. Model number will be on back of TV.

Recap : Provide Model Number, Brand and Count Blinks.

First though; unplug TV from power source for 3-5 minutes then plug TV & box back into a/c outlet.

Good Luck, BIG IRISH.

Yup, it seems a lamp problem can give a blinking green light over the 10 times (1 - 10 times for diagnostic codes), but in my case rather than replace the bulb if it works for a minute then resets with the green light blinking, do what I did.
Take the lamp out and inspect it, it has breather screens top and bottom, if it cant breath because there clogged with dust, clean them, and you can remove the screens, use q-tips and clean the inside. I saved the cost of a lamp and it's working fine!
