My tv comes on, but no picture and 10 seconds later it turns off. What's the problem with my tv? a friends says my lamp has blown out, could that be the problem?
The T.V. has no lamp, it has 3 guns red, blue,& green. Unplug the lead that goes to the high voltage splitter(make sure t.v. is unplug). Then turn the t.v. back on if you hear the H.V. lead making a hissing sound continuously most likely the h.v. block needs to be replaced. Follow the lead from the flyback to the h.v. splitter, this will be the lead that unplugs at the splitter.
