I need a parts diagram to replace the right front surface heating element of a Kenmore range, Model 629-45775

Does the element have continuity? if so, it will be the element switch that needs replacement... Generally, the radiant element will be held on by two screws and a steel plate, note the wiring before removing the old part. Definitely remove power to the machine before doing anything inside of it... Kenmore Range Stove Oven Surface Element Switch WP7403P239 60

I am purchasing a home with a kenmore elite gas range model # 790.3670--the seller doesn't seem to know if the oven is electric or gas. What is standard?

Electric or gas would be standard. If this is a stove like in the picture you provided, and is gas on top ... it is probably gas inside. You could always look to see if it has a burner or a calrod. See if there is a setting for Pilot or Igniter. Electric ovens don't need a pilot nor an igiter.

Of course, you could turn it on ... or pull it away from the wall to see what the connection is ... gas pipe or, if electric is involved, a very heavy electric cord - probably 50 amp 220 volts. If it has a small cord plugged into a standard wall outlet ... definitely gas fired. You say the top is gas so there will be a flex pipe for the gas ...

I searched Sears - they claim there is no such model.

Your agent should be able to tell by looking.

Kenmore flat top range front burner popped and now doesn't heat.

Assuming the other other elements work....

Write down the entire model number and call a local Sears parts store if there is one near you. They should give you the option of having the parts shipped or picking it up.

To change the element:

Unplug/turn power off to your range first.

Look under the front lip you should see between 2-4 screws. Remove the screws and then the glasstop will lift up. You might need some help to hold it up while you remove the front support bracket.
Once you have that bracket removed from the glasstop, you can change the bad element.

Dryer will not start have replaced the heating element, door switch and on switch

hi, i recommend inspecting the terminal block that the power cord is connect to on the back side of the dryer. this terminal block may be faulty or, the cord could be lose and not connected properly.kindly, inspect this device that is located on the back side of the dryer for lose connections. if the termainakl block is in good conditon and, the power cord is screwed on tight, thsi iwll confirm timer fialuer.

replace the timer in this case.

Screw Size to install electrical cord

they should be what is called a 10x32 screw. you should be able to get these from any hardware store. not at home depot or lowes, but like an ace hardware. they will know what you are talking about.
i would guess that someone lost your original screws. if not then you might be having problems because the screws got stripped out when trying to change the cord or hook up a new one. if that happend, then you will need to replace the nuts also. get them at the hardware store too.
it may not be easy but you will save alot of money if you can do this yourself.
