Magic Chef Chateau stove pilot goes out when two burners are used!

The pilot flame may not be set high enough to cope with the demand of two burners.

Tip

I have a standing pilot that wont stay lit.

If you have a standing pilot that wont stay lit and you have to keep relighting it, it can only be a couple of things that will do this.
1. Try tighting the thermocouple at the gas valve. (this is a thin copper line that goes from the gas valve and goes to the pilot light.)
2. Make sure that the tip of the thermocouple is in the pilot light flame.
3. Make sure that the thermocouple is clean.

if you have done these and it still doesnt stay lit, buy a new thermocouple.

I have a natural gas poolheater- Raypak Versa 305. The pilot lights but when I release the button after waiting1 min. the flame goes out. This happens over and over so what should be done?

You, or someone should check the flame sensor. If , as it looks, you have a standing pilot (one that stays on), the flame sensor has to be aware of the pilot or all will go out. Good luck...Lee

Pilot light on heater goes on and off when it is heating

If it is electronic ignition this is normal. If it is a standing pilot then you have a problem with the gas valve. With electronic ignition this will light the pilot on a call for heat.

Pilot light goes out when burners kick on burnham

Get a toothbrush and clean the **** off the pilot, could be partially blocked. Change the safety thermocouple. Check the plenum for cracks. A cracked heat exchanger can cause this.

Cozy heater 35000 btu pilot light goes out every 4 days

The thermocouple needs to get red hot. If the pilot flame is too low or too high or if it is not pointed on the thermocouple well, it won't stay hot enough. If the pilot flame is too low, a draft caused by opening a door could blow it out. If correcting this doesn't fix it, it could be a bad thermocouple or control. The factory assembly on these heaters is not the best.

Heater runs for appox 2-4 minutes and then shuts down..

what kind of furnace do you have? Is it electronic or standing pilot? If you have electronic then it could be flame sensor if you have standing pilot and the pilot goes out and you have to relight then it is probably the thermocouple what is going through an 1/2 flex pipe explain this a little more. Have you checked filter.
