Mail is full!!!! help, tech'ies.........

My university uses its system to provide mails for everyone (students, staff, TAs, lecturers, and professors) so the give students the least of space
i keep getting mail related to my uni events and so they are ADs (includes a lot of pictures and sometimes attachments)
and as i explained i am not working with a lot of space here and i am tired of having to delete all inbox sent and even the deleted sextion
the mail uses outlook express as set by server
is there any way to work around that problem by redirecting my mail to land in my hotmail inbox

Site blocked. is not allowed on this network

Are you using Internet access supplied by your employer, or by your school?

If so, then contact the Network System Administrator at your work/school, and ask them to verify that they have chosen to block access for all their employees/staff/students. It is "their" network; so, they can block whatever they want to block, because you clicked "I Agree" to their Appropriate Usage Policy, in order to access their network.

Mail is full!!!! help, tech'ies.........

I'm guessing that the university doesn't use Microsoft Exchange for their mail system, and I'm guessing that you'r Outlook 2007 isn't connecting directly to Exchange. That would leave 1 probably option - your Outlook client is connecting to your mailbox by POP3. If it is, the simplest way to avoid your mailbox size limit problem is to configure Outlook to download your mail to your inbox, remove it completely from the server, and not leave a copy on the server. This system keeps all of your emails on your laptop or computer, and automatically cleans out your school mailbox each time you check your mail. The only problem with this scenario is if you don't check your mail for a while, and it fills up with junk before you can clean it out. The university IT staff should be able to provide the POP3 settings and servers for this configuration... it's very common for schools and large mail servers.

This fact is annoying but the home and student version of microsoft office does not have outlook installed with it.

Mailbox inactive

You can have this phone on one of many different Nortel phone systems and you can also have different voice mail systems. If your voice mail is old and based on a hard drive it could be failing. Chances are your voice mail is the problem. This can get very complicated for someone not familiar with phone systems and voice mail. I would highly suggest looking for a local phone system installation company that can come out and troubleshoot the problem. If your voice mail is 10+ years old and based on a hard drive you may want to replace it regardless instead of wasting time paying a tech to find an intermittent problem. A hard drive running 24/7 for 10 years will not las much longer anyway.
