Yeah, that screen has probably pushed in a little bit too hard, probably damaged. Suggest testing it with another external monitor that you can plug into the side of the laptop. Try downloading the appropriate driver from the Acer website. Note Acer shows your model of laptop having Nvidia Chipsets for Video and Motherboard, install the following drivers listed
you will need to check the display cable and if that is ok, you will need to replace the display panel... You're getting a short on the circuit board causing rows of pixels to be blocked out
