I had the same problem. I put vinegar in the reservoir for a few days, it worked the tube that takes in the water was clogged.
I''m looking for the cap that holds the water in the reservior, do you know where I can buy one?

The symptoms you describe are those of a machine that is overheating. Almost certainly there is a blockage somewhere, or one or more filters are clogged, thus impairing air flow. Clear the blockage and the problem should be solved. If this doesn't help, please post details of the model number of your machine and I'll try to be more precise. I hope this helps.
