Went on the hp site did what it said still does not work. can it be fix chep, or would it be better to buy a new one.

I domt know wgat the error is, but most likely its cheaper for a new. Service repair will be at least $45 + parts

try master rest for hp C 5180
Master Reset:
Unplug the printer, then pressing the help and ok buttons simultaneously plug it back in. . This sorted it.

Need master reset code. have carriage error


went to hp site, searched for the message " carriage error ", watched the help video , and cleared the piece of paper that was stuck behind the carriage.
any way if there is master reset code for my printer I would like to have it just in case.

Printer wont print cuz of error


Try connecting the printer directly to wall instead of surge protector, and see if that resolve the issue or not

u knw i cn tell u the steps but if u do even 1 of the steps wrong ,ur printer wont work anymre so contact them

Oxc18a0201 ink system failure. Apparently failed due to using non HP ink. HP recomends buying a refurbished replacement. The printer is HP photosmart C5180


1.-press key * # 2.-enter code 123 and select a Hardware faliure status 3.- Press clear OK and finish cancel for end restart print

Used copy ink now it wont print


see if this works, its worth a shot. not correct code but may help . Shut down your printer by pressing Simultaneously Cancel + OK + Black + Color
